Derbyshire’s Peak District is preparing for the Tour de France. The world famous cycling race will pass through the nation’s favourite area of natural beauty on July 6th. And spectators are being urged to help keep the National Park in ‘peak’ condition too. According to the park authority’s Tour de France co-ordinator, Jenny Waller, the park is a great place to witness the Tour de France, but spectators are being asked to take extra care to look after the beautiful, protected area. In particular, to avoid standing on dry stone walls, many of which are more than 100 years old, are heritage features that stills serve a purpose and are not held together with cement or mortar.
Earlier on in the UK leg of the Tour de France, The Orange Food Box Company will be serving up an outside catering treat to race spectators. Our Derbyshire event catering fish and chip van will be frying the very best beer-battered fish and chips available, served up with our homemade tartar sauce to boot! Delicious!
So get out there and enjoy this historic, exciting event. And if you’re thinking about providing outside catering at an event, whether it’s event catering or wedding catering, get in touch with the Derbyshire caterers to trust! After all, not only do we serve the very best quality, locally sourced when possible ingredients, but all of our staff are trained to NCASS standards. It’s the mobile catering industry body and you can’t get better than that!
