It’s a brand familiar to all of our customers and it’s certainly a brand familiar to cricket fans throughout England, as it’s the England team’s official sponsor: It’s Marston’s Pedigree, the country’s favourite beer. The Orange Food Box Company uses Marston’s Pedigree to make our beer battered fish n chips. Pedigree, mixed with a dash of sparkling spring water produces a light, flavoursome batter. Fried in oil filtered by our VITO oil filter, we think we serve some of the tastiest fish n chips you could wish for.
Behind Pedigree beer, parent brand Marston’s is making waves across the UK’s pub industry, as it strives to position itself as an upmarket ‘pub grub’ chain and it’s recent revamping of Derbyshire favourite, the Crewe and Harpur, was recently used as an example in a Financial Times article. The Farmhouse at Mackworth, Derby is another example of a recent Marston’s renovation, but unlike the Crewe and Harpur, this is at the higher end of the chain and is part of Marston’s ‘Revere’ brand. Following a £1.3m transformation, The Farmhouse even has a Chateaubriand steak available on its menu…for £50!
So it looks like Marston’s has premium pub catering under control and thanks to their Pedigree beer brand, our premium Derbyshire fish and chip van has Derbyshire wedding catering, event catering and corporate catering sorted too!
